New long term agreement with Aker Egersund AS

Long term agreement was signed on 28th of January 2009 with another serious contractor Aker Egersund AS. It concerns welding and fitting works within client's area. AEG is one of four Norwegian manufacturing plants that are the part of AKER SOLUTIONS ASA. It has necessary facilities and long-time experience in building large-sized, complete modules for different types of drilling and production platforms. Moreover since 10 years now AEG has been specializing in fabrication and testing of advanced subsea structures for oil and gas industry.

Gjoa EPCH Project - AKER STORD & AKER OFFSHORE PARTNER

In July 2008 our company started works while construction of GJOA production rig. Within the framework of our direct contract with AKER STORD AS we perform assembly and welding works on piping prefabrication, and on a main deck's assembly as well. Material scope includes carbon steels, austenitic, duplex, super duplex and titanium. Additionally on basis of framework agreement with AKER OFFSHORE PARTNER AS we perform NDT testing of welded joins. Scope of NDT examination consist of UT, MT, PT i VT. Works are performed on Client's ground in Stord/ Norway.

NDT service - New contract with Aker Offshore Partner AS

On 30th of June our company signed a new long term contract with Aker Offshore Partner for NDT service performance. Aker Stord yard and Refinery in Mongstad, both in Norway, these are two main locations where our operators perform their examinations. The scope covers ultrasonic, magnetic particle, penetrant fluid and visual testing of pipelines and structures being currently under construction.

LOTOS Rafinery

Next month WNS POMORZE starts works on a building site of a sulfur recovery installation and waste gasses purifying (SRU/TGT) within LOTOS 10+ petrochemical investment. Scope of work includes NDT examination, as well as PWHT performing for our clients : KB Pomorze and Mostostal Pomorze.

Gjøa Semi Project - Naval Repair Shipyard/ Świnoujście

On a direct order of our client AKER STORD AS, WNS POMORZE performs welding works of pipeline installation of super duplex on a semi-submersible production platform Gjøa-Semi sections on building sites of Naval Repair Shipyard.

Gjøa Semi Project - Naval Shipyard Gdynia

Within permanent cooperation with AKER STORD AS, our company conducts full welding supervision on a building site of Gjøa Semi platform. Prefabrication and partial assemblies included in our supervision are realized on a building site of Naval Shipyard Gdynia.

Gjøa Semi Project - MPO/Gdańsk

Since half of December 2007 WNS POMORZE has been conducting comprehensive welding supervision, technological service of the project, as well as full scope of NDT examination on a building site of a modern Gjøa Semi semi-submersible production platform that's being realized in Mostostal Pomorze/ Gdansk.

Aker Kvaerner Stord AS Audit

Between 13-14.11.2007 our client Aker Kvaerner Stord A/S conducted a verifying audit in a scope of an organization and company structure, contract review, Quality Management System, recruitment procedures, verification and training of welders, fitters and other employees, as well as HSE scope.

Another step in computer system implementation

At the end of October we activated successfully power-administration computer system. The system was created to facilitate, centralize and hasten an access to data for that company managers could approach it from every place in a world.

UDT-CERT Audit

date 22.10.2007

On 15.10.2007 UDT-CERT certifying unit conducted verifying audit in our company. Its purpose was to check the conformance of implemented Quality Management System with a norm PN-EN ISO 9001:2001 requirements. Audit scope included a performance of NDT and DT examination, post welding heat treatment of welded joints, welders training, welding work monitoring, service of welding equipment, checkup of welding technology, and hiring the qualified personnel. Audit's total result proves that our company WNS Pomorze Ltd. has implemented, well functioning and supervised Quality Management System that is consistent with every examined criteria.

Certifying audit ISO 9001:2001 UDT-CERT

On 13.10.2006 our company implemented successfully ISO 9001:2001 system . Certification was made by the Office of Technical Inspection.
